What to Expect Once We Break Ground.

Your home is now moving from plans to reality — and the construction stage is where it all comes to life. Whether this is your first build or your forever home, we know it can be both exciting and overwhelming. That’s why we keep you informed every step of the way.

At Levonix Homes, we focus on building efficiently without ever compromising on quality. You’ll receive weekly updates, clear communication from your site supervisor, and friendly support from our customer service team throughout the journey.

Build Stages at a Glance

1. Base Stage

This is when construction officially begins.

  • Site cut, temporary fencing, and drainage
  • Slab poured and backfilled
  • Base stage invoice issued

Approx. timeline: 4-6 weeks (Longer for split-level or retaining walls)

2. Frame Stage

The skeleton of your home is built.

  • Walls and trusses installed
  • Windows and structural steel (if required)
  • Frame inspection by surveyor
  • Frame stage invoice issued

Approx. timeline: 3-4 weeks (Longer for double storey/split level)

3. Lock-Up Stage

Your home is sealed from the weather.

  • Roofing, cladding, brickwork
  • External doors and windows installed
  • Rough-ins for plumbing, electrical and HVAC
  • QA pre-plaster inspection
  • Lock-up invoice issued

Approx. timeline: 6-8 weeks (Longer for double storey/split level)

4. Fixing Stage

Interior starts to take shape.

  • Plaster, waterproofing, cabinetry
  • Fixing carpentry, stair install, stone bench measurement
  • Fix stage invoice issued

Approx. timeline: 6-8 weeks (Longer for double storey/split level)

5. Final Stage

All finishing touches are completed.

  • Painting, tiling, flooring, fit-offs
  • Site and internal clean
  • QA inspection

Approx. timeline: 6-8 weeks (Longer for double storey/split level)

6. Practical Completion & Handover

You’re almost there.

  • Occupancy permit issued by surveyor
  • Final invoice issued for your lender
  • PCI (practical completion inspection) with your supervisor
  • Final defects recorded and scheduled for rectification
  • Handover once final payment is received

Approx. timeline: 3–5 weeks from PCI to settlement

After Handover:
3-Month Maintenance

Once you receive your keys, we’ll enroll you into our maintenance program.
You’ll receive monthly emails leading up to your 3-month review, and you can always reach out if something needs urgent attention.

Helpful Reminders

  • You’ll receive weekly updates and calls from your supervisor
  • Site visits must be booked in advance through our team
  • If you’re using a private inspector, please notify us once your building permit is issued
  • Some rectification works are completed post-inspection to keep the job moving efficiently
